After the sudden passing of my first born daughter and deploying to combat in the same year I had lost all hope and faith. I pushed most people close to me away and struggled to find purpose and direction. After a few conversations with Mike I was invited on an axis deer hunt where I met multiple like minded men that motivated me, prayed with me, showed me there is a purpose and direction for all of us and set me on my new path with Jesus Christ as my savior. I truly believe I have a purpose and direction in life and now have a light to follow. I have also developed multiple relationships with solid outdoorsman that also follow Christ. Project Savior Outdoors is exactly what I needed in my life and I am blessed to be part of it and I’m excited about my future on this path.

I felt lost and hopeless in my search for hunting skills or someone to teach me the basics of hunting in my area. Months after I applied I was leaving a job interview that wasn’t successful and was feeling hopeless. Mike called me as I was leaving the interview with the opportunity to hunt and to teach me the basics. I was in disbelief and so grateful to God for sending Mike to help me. His wisdom, faith, and masculine energy reinforced my own and now I feel renewed in my fatherly mission to learn and teach my son the ways of the hunt.

Project Savior Outdoors didn't just give me an unforgettable hunting experience; it became the catalyst that brought me closer to my fellow brothers in Christ. Through this incredible organization, I found solace, understanding, and support in overcoming the obstacles that my PTSD had imposed on my life. It's difficult to put into words the profound impact this connection has had on me, as it goes beyond mere camaraderie. It's a bond that unites us through our shared experiences, providing the strength and courage to face our battles head-on. With each step we take together, I feel a renewed sense of hope, knowing that I am not alone in this journey. Project Savior Outdoors has truly breathed life into my soul and given me the opportunity to heal in ways I never thought possible.

After getting hurt, I had a hard time getting out and doing things, not just physical but mental. Mike took me on a hunt at Legacy Ranch and had an amazing hunt. But that was just the highlight. Going out there I got to talk to Mike and shared life with him. We talked about what is going on now after the military and my problems I've had and his too. I lost some good friends in 9/11 and really missed my buddies. He took me out there and I felt I sense of calm that I haven't felt in a long time. Being with these guys was a breath of new life. It's hard to put in words but you know what I mean. Thank you so much for being there just at the right time when I needed something above me.

Project Savior Outdoors has been a vital part of my journey post-service. It's a crew of solid Christian men who get outdoors, get active, and get real. Being out in nature, hunting, fishing—it's not just a hobby; it's a form of therapy. As a combat vet, the camaraderie here hits different. We swap war stories, sure, but we also support each other in ways only brothers-in-arms can. It's been crucial in helping me deal with the stuff that's hard to put into words. This outfit isn't just about the adventure; it's about reclaiming strength, both physically and mentally. Grateful to these guys and this space for being a rock in my post-military life.

What is Project Savior Outdoors? It’s Gods answered prayers to veterans like me. God found me at just the right time. This group not only provides an amazing hunting/ outdoor experience, it provides the brotherhood we all crave since leaving the military. This isn’t just a one and done. These guys consistently keep in touch while diving deep into Gods word weekly. I am always getting words of encouragement and support from the group. This isn’t just some new age group of sitting around singing kumbaya following the ways of the world. We dive deep, we talk about our lives, we talk about struggles and we talk about family.
